Station 45 Fire / Rescue apparatus in front of the Fleetwood Area High School

Newest Addition to the fleet: The Fleetwood Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 Relief Association has purchased a 2008 Ford F-550 Crew-cab with a nine foot Reading Equipment service body. The unit will be used for many purposes such as: squad_web_2

  • QRS (Quick Response Service) unit to assist our EMS crews.
  • Brush fire suppression unit equipped with a variety of brush equipment including a 60 gallon water compressed air foam unit that will make the 60 gallons work like 600 gallons.
  • Towing capability to allow the department to continue its agreement with the County of Berks to tow one of only two bulk foam Haz-Mat trailers in the county.
  • Light duty rescue for inclement weather and special assignments.
